CORK SATSANGS

We’re a friendly group who love Amma and do our best to support each other in applying her teachings in our everyday lives. We’re mostly based in and around Cork City. We’re always glad to welcome old friends and meet new ones, so do get in touch if you’d like to join us anytime!

We love getting together to sing, chant, meditate, and develop shared seva projects.  All our activities aim to kindle a deep and joyful sense of connectedness with Amma, with ourselves, each other and the wider world we live in.

• We host Satsang regularly.
• We have a sewing circle, inspired by Amrita SeRVe, one of Amma’s humanitarian initiatives (https://amritaserve.org/). We make baby clothes and other lovely things which we then offer for sale to raise funds for Embracing The World.
• In autumn/winter, we plant trees with GreenFriends Ireland, and in spring/summer, we grow food crops (fruit, veggies, pulses etc). We host and teach ‘Get Growing’ courses for our local communities.
• We host Integrated Amrita Meditation™ courses, and practitioners hold regular group practices with our local registered teacher.

Cork City Satsangs are held monthly, starting at 7pm until about 9pm.

West Cork Satsang: You are very welcome to join with West Cork satsang group.
We meet Sundays monthly, near Enniskeane. Satsang is followed each month by a meal as a fundraiser for Embracing The World.
