Amma´s Visits Ireland 2008

Wed 19th and Thurs 20th Nov 2008
National Show Centre, Cloghran, Co. Dublin

Ireland will once again be hosting the last stop of Amma’s annual European tour. Her visit has become a much-awaited highlight for many people throughout the country, an opportunity to be recharged with energy and to take an unforgettable dip into pure and unconditional love.

During her past four visits, Amma has received tenth of thousands of people into her open arms - from newborn babies to white-haired grannies, opening hearts and awakening the deeper values and meaning of life.

Politicians like Minister of State Conor Lenihan T.D., the Mayor of South County Dublin Ms Therese Ridge, the head of Special Olympics Ireland Ms Mary Davis, ambassadors and presidents of Interfaith and Peace Organisations have officially welcomed Amma to our country. Artists like Francis Black, Liam O’Maonlai and Kila felt honoured to sing and play for Amma, and Mary Coughlan even joined in to harmonise with the Irish bhajan group.

A host of jounalists from various media reported on this extraordinairy woman and Brenda Donoghue from The Derek Mooney Show was moved to tears during a live broadcast, when trying to communicate the love she felt in Amma’s arms.
